Recently renovated, Gast is located at Rådmansgatan 57 and opens at 7:30 am on weekdays and 9:00 am on weekends.  They’re drop-in only and serve a variety of coffee and other hot drinks, a few juices and smoothies, and a variety of breakfast foods such as avocado toast, eggs, and pancakes.

Mexican brunch in Norrmalm

La Neta, often cited as the best Mexican food in Stockholm/Sweden, has several locations including the original at Barnhusgatan 2.  They’re open at 11:00 am on weekdays and noon on weekends.  The menu includes various tacos and quesadillas that are small enough that you can try a few different kinds if you want.  Tip – try the potato quesadillas, and don’t forget chips and guacamole as an appetizer.  For drinks they serve soda and beer, including a small selection of craft beer.

Classy hotel brunch in Norrmalm

The restaurant at Miss Clara by Nobis hotel, located on Sveavägen 48, has brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00-4:00 pm.  Reservations are recommended, and you don’t need to be staying at the hotel to book brunch.  The menu includes brunch cocktails, with some non-alcoholic options available, sandwiches, salads, eggs, and pancakes.

Looking for a healthy brunch, maybe pre- or post-workout?  Try BodyBuddy at Smålandsgatan 24, open at 7:30 am on weekdays and 11:00 am on weekends.  This is a great place to get a smoothie bowl, salad, or avocado toast, with plenty of vegan options.

For a unique brunch experience, try Java Whiskers, a cat café located on Surbrunnsgatan 48.  They’re open at 10:00 am and reservations are recommended.  They serve coffee drinks, a small selection of vegetarian and vegan sandwiches and savory pies, and a variety of pastries.  Java Whiskers works to place the cats who live in the café in new homes, so you might even find your cat here, or you might simply enjoy relaxing in their company for a little while.
